Film Tehama is recognized by the County of Tehama and the California Film Commission as the official advocate for filming in Tehama County, California. We are also a member of the organization FLICS (Film Liaisons in California Statewide) and the Association for Film Commissioners International (AFCI).
Our Film Liaison
Raised in Shasta County, Tyler Lockamy is the Film Liaison for Film Shasta and a regional film advocate dedicated to strengthening Northern California’s production ecosystem. He serves as Director of the inaugural Sinister Sundial Film Festival, Co-Director of the long-running Sundial Film Festival, and Chairman of the Redding Film Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that exists to empower Northern California filmmakers through education, community, and filmmaker support while building a sustainable regional film industry. In his role with Film Shasta, Tyler works to expand the region’s film economy, support productions of all sizes, and position the North State as a premier destination for film and television production.

The California Film Commission (CFC) serves as a one-stop office for permitting, location assistance, and filming resources throughout California. California’s moderate weather with 315 sunny days per year and 840 miles of coastline, coupled with the greatest film crews and production facilities in the world makes California home to the entertainment industry.
The Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) is the official professional organization for film commissioners who assist film, television and video production throughout the world. It is a non-profit educational association whose members serve as city, county, state, regional, provincial or national film commissioners for their respective governmental jurisdictions.
Film Liaisons in California Statewide (FLICS) is a network of regional film offices and commissions that work cooperatively with the California Film Commission to retain, attract and facilitate feature film, television, commercial and print media production in California. FLICS welcomes project inquiries and offers a variety of services to help expedite and assist productions.
The Location Managers Guild International / LMGI is a global organization of career location professionals in the motion picture, television, commercial and print production industries dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards. Through local commitment and international strength, we support strong relationships between production and government agencies, businesses and communities. We promote awareness of our place in the entertainment industry as indispensable creative collaborators through a variety of innovative programs.
