Steve attended the Theater Arts Program at Santa Barbara City College in the early 80s. He took beginning, intermediate, and advanced acting classes. He also attended acting workshops with actors Andy Romano and Clu Gulluger in the 80s. He acted in bit parts in multiple movies filmed in Santa Barbara including Cutter and Bone with Jeff Bridges. He was cast in Industrail films for Dodge Jeep, and Ford commercials in San Louis Obispo.
